KMHS MEETS NEXTREX RECYCLE CHALLENGE!!! Gray Sikorski was motivated by the NexTrex challenge to turn unwanted plastic bags, wraps, shipping materials, and water bottles into something of value for our school! KMECO took on the goal of collecting 1,000 pounds of plastic in bins throughout the high school. Their intent was to meet this challenge by the end of this school year, but that goal has been met well ahead of schedule. NexTrex will be providing our school with a bench, made from the recycled materials, in honor of KMECO's mission to keep plastic waste out of landfills and create something functional in the process.

A LEGACY OF EXCELLENCE ON THE COURT!!! TMJ4 recently attended a KM girls basketball game to do a story on the 'Original Buck' and proud grandpa, Jon McGlocklin, as he attended his granddaughters' basketball game. McGlocklin was a member of the Milwaukee Bucks' inaugural 1968-69 team. He takes just as much pleasure in watching Keegan, a senior, and her younger sister Quinn, a freshman, excel on the court. The girls will have only one year playing together on the same high school team, but they have been pushing one another their entire lives. This is a wonderful special interest story about an accomplished sports family.
