He qualified individuals for the state track meet all 20 seasons as head coach, with more than 50 total qualifiers and over 50% medaling by placing in the top six, Over 50% of the years, his teams finished in the top ten at the state meet. IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR MORNING DRIVERS – DRIVE SAFELY AND SLOWLY!!! There is a layer of morning ice that is making stopping hazardous and causing many vehicles to become stranded in ditches and beneath hils. Take particular care on side roads, hills, and roundabouts. Do not drive too fast for the conditions. Use your headlights. Don’t use cruise control as you need to maintain control of acceleration and deceleration at all times. Remember 4-wheel drive doesn’t work on ice! Most importantly, give yourself extra time to drive to and from school safely, and go slowly, avoiding dramatic starts, stops or turns!
