Magee Elementary

Mrs. Cavanaugh, Wales Elementary, inspired participation in a Friendsgiving collection with Santa in a Shoe Box. Our schools joined together to create shoe boxes filled with much-needed clothing items like hats, mittens, gloves, scarves, socks, and a few fun things like toys, art supplies, or puzzles and wrapped them. The items are being personally delivered to students at WD Williams Elementary School in Swannanoa North Carolina. These students were terribly impacted by the recent hurricane, tornados, and flooding. Most were left with nothing. The district has 450 students at four elementary schools and KM provided 494 boxes, exceeding their need.
